በቻይናው ግዙፍ የፋርማሲዩቲካል ኩባንያ ሂውማንዌል ሄልዝኬር ግሩፕ ሰብሳቢ ደንግ ዌይዶንግ የተመራና 17 ከፍተኛ የሥራ ኃላፊዎችን ያካተተ የልዑካን ቡድን በቂሊንጦ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን የሥራ ጉብኝት አደረገ።

ልዑካን ቡድኑ በኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን የኢንቨስትመንት ፕሮሞሽንና ማርኬቲንግ ዘርፍ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ በአቶ ውብሸት ታደለ አቀባበል ተደርጎለታል። የጉብኝቱ ቀዳሚ ዓላማ ኩባንያው በቂሊንጦ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን ስራ ለመጀመር የሚያስችሉ የቅድመ ኢንቨስትመንት ሁኔታዎችን በአካል ለመመልከትና የሥራ ምልከታ ለማድረግ ያለመ እንደሆነ ተገልጿል።

መንግስት ለፋርማሲዩቲካል ኢንቨስትመንት ልዩ ትኩረት ከመስጠቱም በላይ፣ ኮርፖሬሽኑ ለዘርፉ ብቻ የሚውል ዓለም አቀፍ ተወዳዳሪ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን ገንብቶ ባለሃብቶችን እያስገባ መሆኑን የገለጹት አቶ ውብሸት ታደለ ሂውማንዌል በቂሊንጦ ልዩ ኢኮኖሚ ዞን ሀብቱን እና ክህሎቱን ስራ ላይ ለማዋል ከወሰነ ኮርፖሬሽኑ አስፈላጊውን ድጋፍና ክትትል እንደሚያደርግ ለልዑካን ቡድኑ አረጋግጠዋል።

ለልኡካን ቡድኑ አባላት የቂሊንጦ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን ዋና ሥራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ቶሎሳ በዳዳ ስለ ዞኑ መሰረተ ልማት እና በፋርማሲዩቲካል ዘርፍ ለሚሰማሩ ባለሃብቶች ስለተዘጋጁ ልዩ ጥቅማጥቅሞች ዝርዝር ገለጻ አድርገውላቸዋል።

በሰብሳቢው የተመራው የልዑካን ቡድን በዞኑ ያለውን ተጨባጭ የሥራ እንቅስቃሴና ለፋርማሲዩቲካል ኢንዱስትሪ የተዘጋጁ መሰረተ ልማቶችን በአካል ተዘዋውረው ተመልክተዋል።

ሂውማንዌል ሄልዝኬር ግሩፕ ዋና መቀመጫውን በዉሃን ቻይና ያደረገና በኢትዮጵያም ጭምር የኢንቨስትመንት እንቅስቃሴ ያለው ሲሆን፤ በርካታ ሠራተኞች ያሉትና ምርቶቹን ከ70 በላይ ለሚሆኑ አገራት ምርቶቹን የሚልክ ግዙፍ ዓለም አቀፍ ተቋም ነው።

Humanwell Chairman Leads Delegation to Ethiopia’s Kilinto Economic Zone

A delegation led by Humanwell Healthcare Group Chairman, Deng Weidong, visited Ethiopia’s Kilinto Special Economic Zone this week to assess potential investment opportunities in the country’s pharmaceutical sector.

The delegation, which included 17 senior executives from the Chinese drugmaker, held talks with officials from the state-owned Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) and toured facilities at the zone.

The visit was aimed at enabling the company to evaluate pre-investment conditions and conduct an on-site assessment as it considers launching operations in Kilinto, a zone dedicated to pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Wubishet Tadele, IPDC’s chief executive for investment promotion and marketing, said the government is prioritizing pharmaceutical investment and has developed sector-specific incentive and infrastructure to attract global firms. He added that the corporation would provide support if Humanwell proceeds with its plans.

The delegation was also briefed by Kilinto Special Economic Zone General Manager Tolosa Bedada on available infrastructure and incentives for pharmaceutical investors.

Humanwell, headquartered in Wuhan, China, employs thousands of people and exports to over 70 countries. The company already has investment activities in Ethiopia.
