PDC-HQ is committed to achieving excellence in quality, environmental stewardship, and occupational

IPDC-HQ is committed to achieving excellence in quality, environmental stewardship, and occupational health & safety. To this end, we have implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS) that unifies the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. The primary objective of our IMS is to establish a cohesive framework that drives continuous improvement, manages risk, and enhances our overall performance.

• Enhance investor confidence by increasing the proportion of investors who rate the efficiency and transparency of IPDC's core services (e.g., site allocation and permit facilitation) as "Satisfied" or "Very Satisfied" from 70% to 75% by June 2026.

• Implement a robust environmental monitoring system by launching a digital EHS portal and successfully onboarding 3 pilot SEZs by June 2026.

• Proactively reduce workplace risks at IPDC HQ by implementing and validating three high-priority safety improvements annually, based on Safety Committee recommendations and risk assessment findings, and demonstrating the effectiveness of the implemented controls through post-implementation reviews by June 2026.

• Execute 100% of new and renewed investor contracts with integrated EHS clause or article defining mutual responsibilities.

• Enhance organizational resilience by implementing a semi-annual Strategic Risk Horizon Scan. The first report, due June 2026, will identify and assess at least three emerging macro risks impacting SEZ investment, with recommended actions presented to Top Management.

• Align strategy with critical risks by formally integrating the current top 5 risks from the IMS Risk Register into the FY 2027 strategic planning.
• Ensure the successful procurement and deployment readiness of 20 environmentally friendly electric minibuses (EVs) and achieve 100% completion of the procurement process and mobilization of the contractor and consultant for the Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane-based potable water treatment modification project at Hawassa Special Economic Zone by the end of June 2026.

• Achieve 100% completion of the external financial audits of the corporation (for the 2016 and 2017 Ethiopian Calendar) by the end of June 2018E.C.

• Achieve 100% completion of provisional handover activities of projects (Arerti IP, ASEZ L-Shape Road, and Adama School) by the end of June 2026.

• Strengthen investment promotion efforts to attract 110 investment projects, by end of June 2018 E.C.

• Establish and maintain 100% awareness of applicable legal requirements by developing, publishing, and reviewing a centralized Legal & Regulatory Register for all IPDC HQ activities by June 2026, with mandatory annual updates and communication to relevant process owners.
