Corner stone was laid at Bole Lemi Industrial Park to build a medical equipment manufacturing facility that will be completed less than a year.
The first vehicle assembly business in the Dire Dawa Free Trade Zone has been formally opened and has begun operations with a 700 million US dollar investment.
In the past 2 years, efforts made to get local manufacturing companies to enter industrial parks have yielded results.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Phd) said this while officially inaugurating the first free trade zone in Ethiopia.
