የኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን በስሩ የሚያስተዳድራቸው ተቋማት ዓለም አቀፍ ተወዳዳሪነታቸውን ለማሳደግ የሚረዱ ዓለም አቀፍር አሰራሮች ተግባራዊ እንዲደረጉ የሚደረገው ጥረት ተጠናክሮ እንደሚቀጥል የኮርፖሬሽኑ ፓርክ ኦፕሬሽን እና አስተዳደር ዘርፍ ስራ አስፈጻሚ አቶ ፍጹም ከተማ ገለጹ፡፡

ስራ አስፈፃሚው ይህን የገለፁት የቦሌ ለሚ ልዩ ኢኮኖሚ ዞን እና የኢንዱስትሪ ፕሮጀክቶች አገልግሎት ከኢትዮጵያ ተስማሚነትና ምዘና ድርጅት በተለያዩ ዘርፎች ላገኟቸው ዓለም አቀፍ ዕውቅ በተዘጋጀ መርሃ ግብር ላይ ነው።

አቶ ፍፁም የኮርፖሬሽኑን ዋና መስሪያ ቤት ጨምሮ በስሩ የሚያስተዳራቸው ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኖች እና ኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮችን አሰራርን እና አስተዳደር ስርዓት ዓለም አቀፍ እስታንዳርድን ባሟላ መልኩ እንዲሆን ለማስቻል የተለያዩ ስራዎች ሲሰሩ መቆየቱን ገልጸው ዛሬ እውቅና የተሰጣቸው ቦሌ ለሚ ልዩ ኢኮኖሚ ዞን እና የኢንዱስትሪ ፕሮጀክቶች አገልግሎት የዚሁ ጥረት ውጤት መሆናቸውን ጠቁመዋል፡፡

ስራ አስፈፃሚው ከዚህ ቀደም የሀዋሳ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን የተቀናጀ ስራ አመራር ስርዓት ተግባራዊ በማድረጉ ተመሳሳይ እውቅና ማግኘቱን አስታውሰው፣ በቀጣይም ዋና መስሪያ ቤትን ጨምሮ ሌሎች ዞኖችና ፓርኮች ተመሳሳይ ዕውቅና እንዲያገኙ በትኩረት እየተሰራ መሆኑን ጠቅሰዋል።

የኢንዱስትሪ ፕሮጀክቶች አገልግሎት ዋና ስራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ሽፈራው ሰለሞን በበኩላቸው፤ ይህንን እውቅና ለማግኘት የተሰሩት ስራዎች ከፍተኛ ትኩረትንና የጋራ ጥረትን የሚጠይቁ፣ ቁርጠኛ የአመራር እና ብቃትን የሚሹ መሆናቸውን ገልጸው ለስራው ስኬት አስተዋጽኦ ላበረከቱት አመራሮች እና ባለሙያዎች በኮርፖሬሽኑ ስም ምስጋና አቅርበዋል።

በዕውቅና አሰጣጥ ስነ-ስርዓቱ ላይ የተገኙት የኢትዮጵያ የተስማሚነት ምዘና ድርጅት ዋና ስራ አስኪያጅ ኢንጅነር መአዛ አበራ በበኩላቸው፤ ኮርፖሬሽኑ የሚያስተዳድራቸው ተቋማት ዓለም አቀፍ ምዘና ማድረጋቸው በተቋማቱ የሚመረቱ ምርቶች እና አገልግሎቶች ዓለም አቀፍ ተቀባይነት እንዲያገኙ ከማድረግ ባለፈ፣ የምርት እና አገልግሎት ጥራትን ለማረጋጋጥ፣ የሰራተኞችን ደህንነት ለማረጋገጥ እና የአካባቢ ጥበቃ ስራን ለማጎልበት ወሳኝ መሆኑን አስረድተዋል።

ኮርፖሬሽኑ የሚያስተዳድራቸው ተቋማት ዓለም አቀፍ አሰራሮችን ተግባራዊ ማድረጋቸው ተወዳዳሪነታቸውን ከማሳደጉ በተጨማሪ ብክነትን ለመከላላከል እንደሚረዳ ይታመናል፡፡

በዕለቱ የቦሌ ለሚ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን በተቀናጀ ስራ አመራር ስርአት (IMS) የኢንዱስትሪ ፕሮጀክቶች አገልግሎት ደግሞ በጥራት ስራ አመራር (QMS) ዓለም አቀፍ የዕውቅና የምስክር ወረቀት ተበርክቶላቸዋል።
ቦሌ ለሚ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን ኮርፖሬሽኑ ከሚያተዳራቸው 14 ልዩ ኢከኖሚ ዞን እና ፓርኮች ውስጥ አንዱ ሲሆን የኢንዱስትሪ ፕሮጀክቶች አገልግሎት ደግሞ ከአርባ አመታት በላይ በኢንዱስትሪ ዘርፍ የማማከር እና የስልጠና አገልግሎት ሲሰጥ የነበረ ተጠሪነቱ ለኢንዱትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬስን የሆነ አንጋፋ ሀገራዊ ተቋም ነው፡፡
በመድረኩ ለተቋማቱ እውቀና ማግኘት አስተዋጽኦ ላበረከቱ ባለሙያዎች፣ ተቋማትና ማህበራት የምስጋና የምስክር ወረቀት ተበርክቷል።

IPDC to Strengthen Adoption of International Standards

The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) has announced that it will intensify efforts to ensure the adoption of international standards that will boost its global competitiveness.

The Chief Officer of the Corporation’s Park Operations and Management Division, Fitsum Ketema, made the statement during a recognition ceremony held for Bole Lemi Special Economic Zone and the Industrial Projects Service.

Both institutions received international certifications from the Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise in various operational areas.

According to Fitsum, the corporation has been undertaking wide-ranging reforms to align the management and operational systems of its headquarters, special economic zones, and industrial parks with globally accepted standards. He noted that the certifications awarded to Bole Lemi and the Industrial Projects Service reflect the progress achieved so far.

He also recalled that the Hawassa Special Economic Zone had previously secured similar recognition after implementing an integrated management system. Efforts are now underway to enable other parks and the corporation’s headquarters to attain comparable certifications.

Industrial Projects Service General Manager, Shiferaw Solomon, said achieving the recognition required strong leadership commitment, coordinated teamwork, and professional competence. He thanked staff and partners who contributed to the accomplishment.

Engineer Meaza Abera, Director General of the Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise, emphasized that adopting international standards enhances global acceptance of products and services, while also improving quality assurance, workplace safety, and environmental protection.

During the ceremony, the Bole Lemi Special Economic Zone received certification for its Integrated Management System (IMS), while the Industrial Projects Service was recognized for its Quality Management System (QMS).

IPDC currently oversees 14 special economic zones and industrial parks across the country. The Industrial Projects Service, which reports to IPDC, has more than four decades of experience in consultancy and training to industrial sector of Ethiopia.

Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to institutions, professionals, and stakeholders who contributed to the successful certification process.
